2015: A New Medium

Every day at York, we witness remarkable ideas morphing and thriving in the minds of this community. Without a doubt, they are ideas worth spreading. On April 1, 2015, we introduced a new way of distributing them: TEDxYorkSchool. In its thought provoking and entertaining debut, TEDxYorkSchool brought ideas and creativity to the stage for a conference that left audience members laughing and inspired. The inaugural event featured a variety of independent thinkers from the York community who each use a new medium to solve timeless problems or express striking stories.
